Kiwi is a product of ASIZA CAPITAL Management Consultancy LLC SOC, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, operating in the United Kingdom. We provide care home management software to care providers in the United Kingdom, hosted on servers in the United Kingdom. For the website and our own customer records we are the data controller. For the care records our customers keep inside Kiwi, the customer is the controller and we are the processor.
Records about residents and staff that a care provider keeps in Kiwi are that provider's data. We process them only on the provider's instructions under our data processing agreement. Each provider's data is held in a separate database on a server in the United Kingdom. We do not use it for any other purpose and never sell it.
Our terms include a data processing agreement covering the subject matter and duration of processing, the nature and purpose, the types of personal data including special-category health data, the obligations of both parties under UK GDPR Article 28, sub-processors, security measures, breach notification within 72 hours, assistance with data subject requests and impact assessments, and deletion or return of data at the end of the contract.
Enquiry data for two years after the last contact. Customer account data for the life of the contract plus six years for tax and legal purposes. Care records inside Kiwi are kept for as long as the provider instructs and returned or deleted at the end of the contract.
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict processing, and complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. Contact hello@kiwi.care.
Care data stays in the United Kingdom. Where a sub-processor is outside the UK, transfers are covered by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.
